After careful review of the market and overall show performance, we have made the decision to pause the BC Sport & Wilderness Show for 2027 while we evaluate the long-term direction of the event. While the event has a long history in the region, exhibitor and consumer sentiment has not been as strong as we typically see across our portfolio. With increased competition in the market, we believe our efforts are best focused on continuing to build and invest in our other Western Canadian events.
As part of that focus, our team will be concentrating on growing the Calgary Boat and Outdoors Show, the Edmonton Boat and Sportsmen’s Show, and the launch of our new show in Manitoba Sport & Outdoor Show.
We truly appreciate your continued support of the BC Sport & Wilderness Show (historically the BC Sportsmen’s Show).
